Synopsis
Based on the comedy of the same name by Nikolai Gogol. Succumbing to the persuasion of his friend Kochkaryov, a middle-aged court adviser Podkolyosin wooed to the overripe girl Agafya Tikhonovna, a merchant's daughter.
