Jordan began his career while completing his law degree at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, when Spike Lee cast him as Anthony opposite Josh Brolin in his 2013 film "Oldboy." In 2015, Jordan worked with Will Ferrell in Etan Cohen's film "Get Hard." In 2017, he played real life murderer David Gerard on the Investigation Discovery Channel's hit television show "Your Worst Nightmare."
