Matjaž Ivanišin is a Slovenian director, screenwriter, and director of photography.

He was born in 1981 in Maribor, Yugoslavia [now Slovenia]. He worked at the Small Stage (First Stage) of the First Gymnasium Maribor under the mentorship of Jernej Lorencij.
