Actress and model Claudia Julieta Ramirez Valdez, known as Claudia Ramirez, was born in Minatitlan, Veracruz, Mexico on July 30, 1964.

As a teenage model, she had great popularity in television commercials in the early 80's, later entering Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística (CEA). At the age of 18 she made her television debut alongside Rebecca Jones in the soap opera El Ángel Caído (1982) and the following year she had an uncredited role in the feature film Dune.
