He resides in Fairfax, Marin County, California. Ordained as a Zen priest by Shunryu Suzuki, who gave him the name Jusan Kainei ("Longevity Mountain, Peaceful Sea"), Ed Brown has led meditation retreats and classes throughout the United States and in other countries.
