Amber Rivera was born on August 26, 1983 in Tampa, Florida to Edith Morales and Martin Rivera, both from Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

She grew up between Florida and Puerto Rico where at a young age she began performing in local stage productions, dance recitals, and commercials.
